Equipment

Standard Power Units are late model Chevrolet Silverado, 3500 Diesel, 4 wheel drive, Allison transmissions, full second seat and 10’ beds. Hitches are B&W hideaway with 30,000 pound towing capacity.

4 Horse + Living Quarters

1 and 2 horse trailers are available for short distance transportation. Reliable power equipment is sized to suit.

Equipment FAQ
  • All Class A drivers are cross trained in basic horse handling

  • Most price options are quoted on the basis of “loaded” miles

  • Internet, cell phone services are provided

  • Power units are equipped with telephone and emergency notification equipment

  • All standard rules governing drivers apply to equine transport. Drivers and equipment are compliant with rest periods, speed limits and legal weigh / inspection facilities, DOT and other governing entities.

  • Tack rooms are included in the 3 and 4 horse units.

  • Time sensitive transportation progress reports are provided

Horse Handling FAQ
  • Natural horsemanship and low pressure are standard practice

  • Authorized equine stops are utilized in overnight transports

  • As a precaution we recommend owner collaboration in the safe loading and unloading at pickup and destination points.

  • Specialized assistance in loading, unloading and, in process care is provided for an equine professional as an additional fee.

  • 20 minutes is allowed for loading / unloading each animal. An hourly fee is charged for longer services

  • Horses with pre-existing medical conditions are subject to case by case mutual agreement. Fitness to travel is certified by the owner, who retains all health, legal and financial responsibility.

The scope of work and all conditions of the proposal are included. Any and all items that are not included are excluded.
